While weaving the latest group of security blankets, I decided to add some color to a couple of the blankets. The darker purple is a dye bath at ph-10. The lighter was taking the same bath and adding chalk powder. Natural cotton dyed with logwood.

I used Alum for my mordant mixture. Then I finished the wrap with a mixture of Gallnuts Nuts and Iron Water.
