New Draft on the Loom

This is some made to order yarn that I had imported. It is a 50/50 blended yarn using New Zealand merino wool and silk from India. It was blended and handspun in India.
The draft (pattern) that I am using is from the eight century, from the Bavaria area of Germany.

When the raw silk sarees are manufacture, there is a lot of threads that get wasted. The village spinner’s collect the threads and card them into fiber, then handspin into yarn for weaving and knitting.

Only three Natural and Organic items were used. Textured Organic Cotton Yarn from India, the Black Mud was made from the Charcoal of Grape Vine Shoots grown in Germany and Organic Home-Crafted Soy Milk.

Made to Order, New Delivery of Handspun Yarn from India.

25 kilo’s of made to order yarn. Shipped from Bhubaneswar City (Known as the Temple City of India), India.

5 kilo’s of khadi cotton yarn, 10 kilo’s of recycled saree silk yarn and 10 kilo’s of a 50/50 blended merino wool (18 micron) with mulberry silk.

It took the ladies three weeks to acquire the fiber and to spin the yarn. Shipping took one and half weeks, half a week was in customs.
