I just received my new shipment of yarn today.
This is 5 kilo's of Imported Organic Peruvian Cotton.
The Non-GMO and Hypoallergenic Cotton was hand harvested by the local farmers to insure its quality.
First the yarn will be pre-washed to allow for shrinkage. Then warped up on the floor loom to make some baby items and maybe weave a large throw. Maybe just in time for this years holiday season's market.

Off the loom and ready for fringing then maybe some pigment paint to give it some color. This will be a tough decision on what style of fringe to use. Organic Bast Fiber Scarf. Imported Organic Hungarian Linen & Imported Organic Wild Himalayan Nettle Fiber.

Drying my Marigold that I pickup up @arnoskyfamilyfarm. The flower pedals will be used for dyeing yarn and future weaving.

This being the second scarf with this draft, I wanted to pop-out the texture more. 2 Shuttles, 2 Yarns, 4 Shafts, 5 Treadles and 2 Left Feet. Dyed Buckthorn Berry Yarn, Natural Cotton, Dried Buckthorn Berries.

I took a drive out to Arnosky Family Farms this morning.
Picked up a buckets of Marigolds.
Offerings for Dia de los Muertos, Diwali and of coarse Marigolds for dyeing.
I have already some natural cotton blank blankets ready to be Eco-dye.

First One is an Organic Bast Fiber Scarf. Imported Organic Hungarian Linen & Imported Organic Wild Himalayan Nettle Fiber. Using a Drop Spindle the Nettle Fiber was spun into yarn to weave with. Linen Warp & Nettle Weft.
Second is a closeup up Scarves being woven with the Dyed Buckthorn Berry Yarn. Natural Cotton, Dried Buckthorn Berries.
