Just in time for a road trip this evening with the super strawberry moon.The “Strawberry Moon” marks the last full moon of spring and the first of summer. I will be able to do some moon gazing and chasing in the wee hours of the morning.

Finished Size, 36″ x 72″ w/o the fringe.
I used Alum for my mordant mixture. Then I finished the wrap with a mixture of Gallnuts Nuts and Iron Water.


Imported Safflower and Aleppo Oak Gallnuts from Turkey.

I used the gallnuts for my tannin mixture. Dyed with safflower pedals, then finished with copper water and soda ash.
