I have added a new size of woven blanket. They will be the same as my other blankets in texture, color and fibers. the only differences is that they are woven narrower to fit within the width of the wheelchair wheels. I will be offering two sizes, lap and full length. These blankets will be one of the few weaving that I will be offering online for purchase.

Floor loom woven American natural cotton. 2/3 of the textile was woven with a texture cotton yarn. Afterwards it was dyed with marigold flowers. The dyeing was graduated from dark to light, starting with the texture to smooth. Lastly it was lightly eco-dyed with some leaves. Finished size 24″x104″ (64X260 cm) with a 3″ hand twisted fringe.

Drying my Marigold that I pickup up @arnoskyfamilyfarm. The flower pedals will be used for dyeing yarn and future weaving.

I took a drive out to Arnosky Family Farms this morning.
Picked up a buckets of Marigolds.
Offerings for Dia de los Muertos, Diwali and of coarse Marigolds for dyeing.
I have already some natural cotton blank blankets ready to be Eco-dye.

Imported Aleppo Oak Gallnuts from Turkey.
Home Crafted Iron Water
Natural Cotton from the USA.
Finished Size, 36″ x 72″ w/o the fringe.
I used Alum for my mordant mixture. Then I finished the wrap with a mixture of Gallnuts Nuts and Iron Water.


Starting on some new dye colors of yarn for this coming year.
