From Sari Threads to a Loom Woven Silk Blanket. On the Loom

This is sari silk waste. It is virgin silk threads that are not suitable for reeling and throwing due to technological constraints. Silk reeling uses continuous fibers, and any silk fibers that are not long enough for silk filament is considered residual. The silk waste is gather and hand spun into yarn.
